Dear Dold Homes,

We started our venture to build a home by shopping around like most folks do. We went to all the local show homes in the area and out of this area. We started with your home the 2468 and feel in love with it. But we thought it was out of our price range and kept looking. Your salesman was very patient with us and never high-pressured us at any time. Finally, we found that the other companies did not offer value at all. What we found is that by the time all of the hidden costs were added in, the prices were higher. All along we were hoping to get your model 2468 because it had all of the features and room that we desired. We then made the decision to build your home and are we glad we did.

First, we were impressed by the quality of concrete work done on the basement and garage floor. They took pride in the work and did a great job in the most horrible weather in years. They even put a protective coating on the garage floor, something I would have had to do later. Next, the framing was started and we were impressed with the speed and craftsmanship that Matt and his crew performed on our home. Greg was very approachable and kept us up to date during the production side of the home. We called him anytime and he was always helpful. It seemed like the house was framed in no time. Every team that came in to do their part of the house was conscientious and pleasant towards us. We had 3 salesman helping us but Jim Matthews took it upon himself to appointed himself as the key person in the project. Previously Tom helped us on some keys issues and handled them very well for us. Jim even visited us on the sight to look things over. Someone told me during this process that there is no such thing as a perfect house. We are here to tell you that there is such a thing as a perfect house and we have it. All of the things that needed touched up or corrected were handled by our point man Tim who was very good at getting things finished off so we could move in. One person I want to mention is Len " the finish carpenter ". All we can say for this guy is that he is a true craftsman and a professional. He took great measures to put the brass tacks on our home making it beautiful. We just want to thank everyone involved in making our new home a dream come true and making it a great experience. Special thanks to Darcey for treating us like she truly cared and intervened when needed. We felt we could call anyone at Dold and get great treatment and results from the top of the company to the onsite man. Our family thanks you all for a job well done and we will tell everyone we know about your company and how great you all are. Hope to see the salespeople at Cygnet occasionally; they have been good friends through this process.
